Create WordPress.Com Account

Jetpack is a plugin that is designed to work specifically with WordPress accounts to provide additional functionality. We use it to connect your website to your social media accounts so that posts are published to social media automatically when they are published in your website.

To create your free WordPress.com account:

1. Go to https://wordpress.com.
2. Click Get Started.
3. Fill out the brief form. Since this account will apply to the entire website, we recommend that a non-personal email address, username, and password be used in case it the website is managed by someone else in the future.
4. Click Create your account.
5. The next page will ask for your domain name, please do not enter anything here. Instead, close the page or tab.
6. Login to the email account you entered in the registration form and click on the Click here to Confirm Now in the activation email you received.
7. That’s it!
